Professional Background
Scott Adan’s engineering background includes the investigation, evaluation, and repair of structures subject to gravity, earthquake, wind, and blast forces. He has over 25 years experience in the structural design and contract administration of large-scale building projects including high- and mid-rise commercial, healthcare, educational, residential, and parking facilities. Dr. Adan is actively involved in the research and development of steel moment-resisting connections and is an accomplished author of engineering-related journal and technical papers.
